Tamas Bates is a PhD candidate in the Cognitive Robotics department at TU Delft, The Netherlands, working in cooperation with the Honda Research Institute Europe. He received his master's in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich in 2017, with a thesis on the topic of "Online simultaneous learning and recognition of everyday activities" which was produced in cooperation with the National Institute of Informatics, Japan. From 2016 to 2017 he also worked in the Institute of Applied Mechanics at TUM to develop new data visualization methods for the humanoid robot Lola.
