DescriptionExpanding the concept of tangible interaction from designed interfaces to everyday objects around the life, we are working on 3D touch detection project, which has deployable load sensitive surface to capture the tangible interaction. On top of the key insight that human hand is continuously moving and never stops completely, our mathematical approach with pseudo inverse matrix method enabled the system to understand three dimensional touch interaction between user and objects above the 2D surface with embedded loadcels.
